Design and Project Department
The Design and Project Department is responsible for the conception of vessels and systems and for project management.
The Department is equipped with commercial and in-house-developed CAE/CADD/CAM software for all calculations of Naval Architecture and Engineering as, for example, computations of stability, resistance and propulsion, scantlings, HVAC, fluids systems, etc.
The operational planning is done with regard to the most rational use of the available resources (including those external to ENM) and the labour needed to accomplish the different tasks.
In this way, the project management comprises tasks and resources for design and engineering, production, quality assurance and materials and equipments purchasing.
